At Beach Road Dental Care we participate in a number of government dental schemes including the Child Dental Benefits Schedule, which provides access to benefits for basic dental services to some children aged 2-17 years.
The total benefit entitlement is capped at $700 per child over a two calendar year period. All treatment is provided rebate only. This means there are no out of pocket expenses for children under this scheme.
The CDBS provides individual benefits for a range of services including examinations, x-rays, cleaning, fissure sealing, fillings, root canals and extractions. Benefits are not available for orthodontic or cosmetic dental work and cannot be paid for any services provided in a hospital. For further information please go to – http://www.health.gov.au/dental
We also accept the’ Metropolitan Patients’ Dental Subsidy Scheme’. Those entitled to access this public dental scheme will be issued an authority form to attend a participating dentist in their area. Please ensure that this authority form is brought with you to your consultation appointment as treatment cannot be offered under the scheme without this document. Fees charged under this scheme are the standard government fees. Patients will have to pay a contribution which will be detailed on their authority form.
